TEACHER WANTED

Blue Dolphins International Preschool is searching for a reliable, energetic, pleasant team member who is qualified as homeroom teacher for preschool class, and elementary school class starting April, 2024.

Working Day/Hours

1) Full-time: Mon-Fri 9:30-18:30,
2) Part-time: negotiable
Holidays: National holidays, 1 week of GW, and 1 week of summer break, 2 weeks of winter break, and 2 weeks of spring break (all paid).

* Potential for visa sponsorship/renewal.
* Transportation allowance for train pass will be paid.

Duties

Full time teaching duties.
Assessment of student progress (twice a year).
Fundamental care and supervision of students.
Constant revising and developing curriculum.

Requirement

– Candidates should be a native English speaker who resides in Japan.
– At least two years of teaching experience for kindergarteners at an international school.
– Teaching certificate in early childhood (Early Childhood Education License, Elementary Teaching License, Education/Child Development Degree) is strongly preferred.
– Genuinely love working with children.
– Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans to reach learning goals in the curriculum.
– Ability to facilitate various activities, e.g., sports, crafts, singing and dancing, and simple math.
– Self-management and organizational skills are strongly required.
– Experience in teaching ESL students.
– Strong communication skill towards children and adults is required.
– Long-term commitment.

Salary & Benefits

* Starting salary: ¥250,000~
